It was a foggy, rainy day in Nanjing as we started our 700 meter trek up
to the top of the monument. There were very few people compared to the usual
large crowds to visit the national treasure. Built in 1929 it sits at the
foot of the second peak of Mount Zijin or Purple Mountain.
It's worth the claim if you ever have the chance.
