Under The Bridge

Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge

This photo was taken under the Nanjing River Bridge, the second level is rail and upper lever is the highway, and under are these pillars supporting the bridge. We were walking to the parking lot to our tour bus and I noticed he structure with the late afternoon sun was hitting the columns just right, and this is the result.

Its upper deck is part of, China National Highway 104, spanning 4,588 meters. Its lower deck is a 6,772-metre-long double-track railway and completes the Beijing-Shanghi railway, which had been divided by the Yangtze for decades. It was an awesome architectural achievement, especially on a foggy, rainy day.
