West Lake is a freshwater lake located in the historic area of Hangzhou the capital of Zhejiang province in eastern China, not far from Shanghai. West Lake is enormous and beautiful, it has an open ocean feel to it. West Lake has influenced poets and painters throughout the ages for its
natural beauty and it has been among the most
important sources of inspiration for Chinese garden designers thought the centuries. Hangzhou is an area of great natural beauty and art. Even though Hangzhou is a big city, it maintains this out in the country feel, very relaxed, and slow paced. I would much rather spend time here than in Shanghai, but that is my opinion only.
